Participants will delve into lubrication fundamentals, exploring different lubrication regimes, base oils, additive functions, and API classifications. They will gain insights into machine wear mechanisms, including common wear types and machine-specific wear modes. The course also focuses on wear debris analysis, teaching participants analytical techniques and particle identification methods. In addition, participants will learn how to analyze lubricant degradation, detect wrong lubricant addition, and develop and manage oil analysis programs.
